Dark War: Survival calculators, and when to use each one
Dark War: Survival never shows you the total. Every upgrade screen shows the next step only, which makes it almost impossible to judge whether a goal is a fortnight of events away or a whole season. These four calculators exist to answer that one question for the four systems that eat the most resources.
The four upgrade calculators
- Exclusive Weapon CalculatorFragment planning. Set your current star and target and it returns the fragments remaining — the full climb from base to Max Red Star is 3,905 Universal Exclusive Weapon Fragments.
- Red Gear CalculatorPromotion planning. Totals Power Cores, Boost Ore and DX Blueprints; a single piece taken all the way costs 2,350 Power Cores, 705,000 Boost Ore and 150 DX Blueprints.
- Chip CalculatorChipset planning. Every Star Rise checkpoint, the chip copies still owed and the Resonance level a set will reach — Resonance always follows your weakest chip.
- Industrial Buildings CalculatorBase planning. Precision Parts per notch and per Industry tier, including the Watch Tower level and camp requirements that gate everything else.
Picking the right one
- You are sitting on a currency and unsure it is enough. Open the calculator that spends it and read the remaining total, not the next step.
- Your base refuses to upgrade. That is almost always an Industrial Buildings prerequisite — the Watch Tower caps every other industrial structure.
- You are choosing between two upgrades. Run both and compare the bill; the cheaper finish line is usually the better one to clear first.
- You are planning around an event. Work out the total first, then use the Server Time guide to know exactly when the event window opens where you live.
Other planning tools
The calculators sit next to the planners: the Hive Planner for laying out a hive tile by tile, the Black Gold Battlefield Planner for mapping Black Gold positioning with your team, and the Server Time converter for scheduling any of it.
Frequently asked questions
- Where can I find Dark War: Survival calculators?
- ATLANTIS HUB hosts four upgrade calculators — Exclusive Weapon, Red Gear, Chip and Industrial Buildings — plus a Server Time converter and a Hive Planner. All of them are free and need no account.
- Which calculator should I use first?
- Use the one that matches your current bottleneck. If you are hoarding a currency and unsure whether it is enough, the matching calculator tells you the remaining bill; if your base is capped, the Industrial Buildings calculator shows which prerequisite is blocking you.
- Are the calculator numbers official?
- The cost tables are transcribed from in-game upgrade screens by players and re-checked when the game changes. They are community data, not publisher data, so treat a mismatch as worth reporting rather than as a rule.
